is an actor, dancer, and singer, who is soon-to-be based out of New York. He is currently in his senior year at Texas State University, where he’ll be graduating in May with a BFA in Musical Theatre.
Born and raised in the Detroit area, Jacob grew up dancing competitively and calling soda “pop”. After graduating high school as a valedictorian, Jacob headed to Texas to study under the direction of Kaitlin Hopkins. While in school, he has performed at several regional theaters, taken up a minor in political science, and developed an addiction to cold brew coffee.
In addition to performing, Jacob has dabbled in playwriting and choreography. A play of his was a national semifinalist for KCACTF’s Ten-Minute Play Award, and he recently choreographed Texas State’s production of Cabaret.
In his free time, Jacob loves trying new foods, following the Oscars race, doing crossword puzzles, and watching the Detroit Lions. He is confident they will win a Super Bowl in his lifetime.
